Countdown to Versace for H&M: 6 weeks

Another week down until we can add a bit of Versace in our wardrobe from 17th November. Who else is super excited?

Well as promised each week we’ll unveil another item from the collection, and this week we’ve been able to get our hands on the very first ad for the collection. If you like leather, you will be served! We love the top and skirt (unless it’s a dress?) on the far right, and we can’t wait to see more!!! Stay tuned as we’ll come back with more Versace for H&M next week.

P.S.: We love Versace and colours, but please don’t buy the outfit on the left…

First step to luxury: Burbelicious

So I promised to start writing about luxury fashion, because who are we kidding: we all want a piece of luxury, even if we can’t afford it. And don’t you worry, designers know it!

The key is to invest in icon items, seen in every other magazine on pictures coming straight from the catwalk. The perfect example is Burberry; like it or not, Burberry is growing and growing thanks to Master Bailey who drove the brand to more success than ever with its new edgy image that Emma Watson carried better than anyone else.

For a few years now people have been belting everything. Time to belt it in style! As seen on the catwalk, this gorgeous brown leather belt could be your piece of luxury for £195 at Net à Porter. Remember Christmas is just around the corner…

Countdown to Versace for HM: 7 weeks

17th November 2011: this is the date that you have to remember, because this is when you have to either wake up very early to shop on line or even earlier to queue in front of a H&M shop (good luck for that!).

We’re very excited with the arrival of this new collaboration. For those who don’t know much about Versace’s work, remember Beyonce’s dress in Crazy In Love? Well that was Versace! The dress that JLo wore at the 2000 Grammys? Versace again! It goes on and on…

So each week for the next 7 weeks, we’ll be celebrating by unvealing an item from that fabulous collection, starting with this TDF Bracelet!!!

Patience, it maybe around your wrist by 17th November, and for only £20…

To Be Continued…

Too hot for trousers

Yes you are!

Temperatures are continuing to rise in London, and here’s your last opportunity to show your fake tan.

Today’s selection is this two toned dress, because we’re bored of oh so infamous black and white  two toned dress. It will cost you a mere £39.99 afrom H&M and you can wear it in summer (if you live in Scotland for example) or mid-season in London. Pair it with chic flat Chanel ballet or Louboutin pigalle, and your cannot live without Chanel classic flap.

Fresh Start

Well, I’m back!

I have missed writing and most importantly sharing my passion for fashion with you guys, and September is the ‘back to school blog’ month, so it’s a new begining with a new layout (like my artistic picture? lol).

On top of the best fashion at unexpected affordable shops, you’ll also get regular insight of my first amour: luxury accessories. Because let’s keep in mind that by saving money on everyday clothes, we can afford long lasting luxury accessories (come on admit it, we all have a guilty pleasure and drool over a year’s worth of savings handbag). This is all very exciting, so stay tuned!

Even more exciting, if you’re lucky enough to live in London, you’ll be able to enjoy a boiling 27 degrees on Saturday. That’s all great, but we’ve all packed our summer clothes away a loooong time ago (or for some of us never actually took them out), so we need to come up with the ideal outfit we actually never get to wear. That is: winter shorts! But remember, we like to stay classy and so it has to come in a suit. The perfect example comes from ever so versatile Asos. Swap the long sleeved shirt with a silk cream singlet and you’re ready to go: voilà, perfect Shorts Suit!

:

Remember to wear it with your favourite Louboutin and Chanel classic flap:)

Blazer is £48 (currently on sale) and shorts are £30

Go back to Tesco

The Tesco items of the day are this skirt and top.

I love the colour of the top, and it goes perfectly well with this funky black pencil skirt. Each item is £18. Enjoy :-)

P.S.: obviously not to be worn with these ugly shoes…

5 days – 5 dresses: the last one

So just for you, I have made an exception to publish a BLACK dress!!!

This one is exceptionnally chic, so I couldn’t not select it, and you can wear it from day to evening, suits both work and drinks.

It looks like a designer dress, except it’s only Oasis so you only have to pay £65.
